Ok, so now you've decided you want us to perform. We encourage that.
We provide 3-5 stage shows a day which are approximately 25 minutes in length. Each show combines audience interactive comedy with music and tops it all off with a flourish of swordplay designed to draw in and delight the audience.
But that's not all. We are a full-service group. In between shows, we provide fully integrated street characters, including Sir Real, Baron Grinnett, Miss Amabel Redd, Brother Dante Inferno and Sister Celeste L. Bodey, faithful servants and overseers of the Abbey Normal. As such, we provide a minimum of 2 hours of street time each faire day.
And don't forget our audience-interactive games of bowles (bocci) and that renaissance favorite, stool ball (think cricket with a twist).
Our performing philosophy combines both stage and street to create a unique faire experience for patrons and characters alike.
Should you wish, Sir Real is also fully capable of MC'ing any special event at faire, such as a King's Feast, Joust, or Royal Smoker.
We have both sat on faire auditioning boards and have taught at faire academies on subjects including improvisation, character interaction, period language, and proper faire costuming.
Still here? Good.
